For the Greenhouse

The "For the Greenhouse" range of sweet pea seed varieties has been selected for flowering under winter conditions.  While most commonly grown varieties that require a minimum day length (number of hours of light) of around 12 hours to flower, these varieties appear to be daylight insensitive.

- In the HEATED glasshouse they will flower in the depths of winter - from a September sowing in the UK, we've had them in flower on 25 January, and from a July sowing we believe they'll flower for Christmas.
- In the COOL glasshouse sown in autumn, they flower in April.
- In the GARDEN, they flowering 2 to 3 weeks earlier than standard varieties.
